Pause for a moment. A thought is appearing — that doesn’t make it true.
Notice the thought as a sentence in your mind.
Notice that it is made of words, images, or sounds.
Notice that the thought is not the same as the situation.
Notice that meaning is added by the mind automatically.
Notice what happens when you let the thought exist without following it.
A thought is just a thought.
