Settling after mental fatigue
After long periods of thinking or focusing, the mind and body need time to settle.
Notice how tired or active your mind feels right now.
Notice whether your body feels heavy, restless, or numb.
Notice the pace of your breathing and whether it is shallow or deep.
Notice what happens when you stop trying to do anything.
Notice whether a sense of settling appears on its own.
Rest is something the system remembers how to do.
Return whenever you feel mentally tired or overextended.
